Orthokeratology Sydney: Personalised Vision Care for Your Needs
- Do you want to correct your vision and be free of glasses or contact lenses during all waking hours?
- Do you want a safe, non-invasive alternative to laser eye surgery?
- Do you want to ride your bicycle, swim or surf with absolute freedom?
- Are dry, uncomfortable contact lenses affecting your life?
Orthokeratology may be a solution for you. Also referred to as Ortho-K, Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) or Overnight Vision Correction, Orthokeratology is a unique technology that utilises custom-fitted, oxygen-permeable rigid contact lenses to improve vision through the reshaping of the cornea while you sleep. This safe, non-invasive and convenient process allows you the freedom to see clearly without daytime vision correction, since the lenses are worn overnight. Ortho-K is suitable for most short-sighted patients, with or without astigmatism, and ideal for sportsmen and women, swimmers, surfers, or those who simply prefer not to wear glasses or contact lenses during the day. Like refractive surgery, Ortho-K gives clear unaided visual acuity; however, it has no surgical risks and is reversible.
At Orthokeratology Sydney, we believe that every individual’s vision care is unique. Our team provides a patient-focused approach, delivering non-surgical treatments through orthokeratology, which reshapes the cornea overnight. This treatment allows for clear, comfortable vision throughout the day without the need for glasses or daytime contact lenses.
Our practices are committed to offering personalised care that meets your specific needs, whether you’re looking to reduce reliance on daytime eyewear or seeking a myopia management solution for your child. Orthokeratology is a proven, effective method that can help with conditions such as myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness), and astigmatism.
Why Choose Orthokeratology Sydney?
- A non-invasive option for vision correction that fits your lifestyle
- Customised treatment plans based on your unique vision requirements
- An excellent option for children to manage myopia progression
- A trusted, patient-focused team dedicated to improving your eye health
At Orthokeratology Sydney, our team is here to guide you through the process, ensuring that you receive comprehensive care from start to finish. We work closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that fits their vision needs and lifestyle, allowing you to achieve clearer vision without the need for surgery or daily corrective lenses.
